Beefeater London Dry Gin
Beefeater is the world’s number one premium gin, exported to over 100 countries. James Burrough’s original recipe book dated 1895 specifies that nine botanicals are essential in creating the full-bodied and robust flavour of Beefeater. Unlike any other premium gin, Beefeater’s recipe still involves the peel of lemons and Seville oranges, whole juniper berries, angelica and coriander seed, liquorices, orris root, coriander roots, ground almonds. The 12 ingredients of Beefeater 24 are sourced from around the world. The name has been inspired by Yeoman Warders, also known as ‘Beefeaters’, who have guarded the Tower of London since 1485. The image of the Yeoman Guard still adorns every bottle.
